About

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16, ESV)

This is a travelogue of places I’m visiting in the Bible and life on my way to the City of God. This blog is anonymous for a reason. I do not want to sell anything, post advertisements, monetize, be known and create a brand. This blog is about speaking the truth – about the Truth, Jesus, as I walk by faith. In our world today, I think truth is scarce and spin is abundant. And without truth, there can’t be holy love, which the world needs.

If the internet is a public square, this is my version of Speaker’s Corner, without the heckling (which is a good thing). By God’s providence, people will find this blog, and it will hopefully help them to walk by faith, or get them thinking about who Jesus is. I hope that writing this blog will also help strengthen my faith – and make what is real more real.

Full disclosure: I am not a professional poet, writer, or theologian. Any of my thoughts on the Bible are just that – my thoughts. You should check its truthfulness by reading the Bible for yourself, and learning Scripture from a pastor at your local church. The fact that this is anonymous should encourage that – to read for yourself and to live out faith in a local community of believers. It is extremely unlikely there will be prize give-aways, fancy graphics or links to social media, but the blog will seek to post what is true, good, and beautiful.
